CERTIFICATIONS OFFERED

Recognized. Required. Ready When You Are.

Nationally and internationally recognized certifications that meet workplace, clinical placement, and WSIB compliance requirements across Ontario.

Intermediate First Aid (IFA)

Ontario’s current standard First Aid certification, updated to meet CSA Z1210-24. Available at CPR Level A (Adult) or Level C (Adult, Child & Infant), depending on your workplace or program requirement.

Basic Life Support (BLS)

Renewed annually in line with Heart & Stroke Foundation and most employer requirements. A regular part of staying current for working healthcare professionals, as well as a starting point for those preparing for placement.

Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)

Delivered through our certified co-facilitator partnership.

Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)

Delivered through our certified co-facilitator partnership.

Regulatory update (effective 2026): “Standard First Aid” has been replaced by Intermediate First Aid (IFA) and Basic First Aid (BFA) under Ontario’s CSA Z1210-24 standard. Each is also offered at two CPR levels: Level A (Adult) or Level C (Adult, Child & Infant). Recertification for IFA is called IFAR, available at Level C, with one IFAR cycle permitted before a full IFA recertification is required again.

UNDERSTANDING  CPR LEVELS

Level A vs Level C

Level A — Adult

Covers adult CPR and AED use. A great fit for workplaces and individuals focused on adult-centred emergency response.

Level C — Adult, Child & Infant

Covers CPR and obstructed airway response for adults, children, and infants. The level most healthcare placements and child-focused roles call for.
