Welcome to Nurse Decoded. These Terms & Conditions govern your use of the Nurse Decoded website and participation in services offered through Nurse Decoded Inc.

By accessing this website, booking services, or participating in training sessions, you agree to the terms outlined below.

1. About Nurse Decoded

Nurse Decoded Inc. is a professional education and simulation training provider offering hands-on clinical skills practice, workshops, certification courses, and educational programming designed to support nursing learners and healthcare professionals.

Nurse Decoded is not a college, university, or regulatory body and does not grant academic credit, professional licensure, or regulatory certification except where a certification course is delivered through an authorized external training organization.

2. Training and Educational Services

Training services provided by Nurse Decoded are intended for educational and professional development purposes only.

Participation in training does not guarantee clinical competence, employment, or authorization to perform clinical procedures in any workplace or healthcare setting.

Participants remain responsible for ensuring that their professional practice complies with all applicable regulatory requirements, employer policies, and professional standards.

3. Certifications and Verification

Some programs include formal certification issued by an external training provider.

For example, Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is issued through the Heart & Stroke Foundation when program requirements are successfully completed.

Certain workshops offered by Nurse Decoded may include a Certificate of Completion issued by Nurse Decoded confirming participation in structured educational training.

Hands-on practice sessions or individualized skills coaching typically include a Verification of Practice or Participation, confirming attendance and practice hours. These documents are not regulatory or licensing credentials.

4. Booking and Appointments

Sessions may be booked through the website’s Book Now button, which directs users to the Nurse Decoded scheduling platform.

When booking a session, participants may be asked to:

• Select the appropriate service category
  • Choose the desired session length
  • Identify skills they wish to practice
  • Provide contact information to create a client profile

Booking requests may be reviewed before confirmation to ensure appropriate instructor availability.

Nurse Decoded reserves the right to decline or reschedule booking requests where necessary.

5. Learner Training Agreement

Participation in hands-on training sessions requires completion of a Learner Training Agreement and Disclaimer prior to attending the first session.

This agreement outlines additional terms including liability limitations, training scope, learner responsibilities, and safety requirements.

Participants may not attend training sessions without completing the required documentation.

6. Payment Terms

Payment requirements vary depending on the type of service booked.

Private Training Sessions and Skills Practice
Private sessions and hands-on skills training booked through the Nurse Decoded booking system may require a card on file at the time of booking in order to secure an appointment. Remaining balances must be paid at the end of the scheduled session unless otherwise agreed in writing.

Workshops and Events
Registration and payment for workshops, group sessions, and educational events may be processed through third-party event platforms such as Eventbrite. Payment terms, refund policies, and cancellation conditions for these events are governed by the specific terms listed on the event registration page.

Online Courses and Digital Learning
Online courses and digital learning programs may be hosted on third-party learning platforms such as Kajabi. Payment terms, access conditions, and course policies for these programs will be specified at the time of purchase within the course platform.

Nurse Decoded may also offer payment options through third-party payment processors or installment services. Nurse Decoded does not control the policies, terms, or processing fees of these external providers.

7. Cancellation and Rescheduling

Cancellation and rescheduling policies depend on the type of service booked.

Private Training Sessions and Skills Practice

Appointments cancelled with 24 hours or more notice may be rescheduled or refunded according to the booking policy.

Appointments cancelled with less than 24 hours notice or missed without notice may result in 30% missed appointment fee charge to the card on file.

Missed appointment fees may, at Nurse Decoded’s discretion, be applied toward a future appointment.

Workshops and Events

Cancellation and refund policies for workshops and events are governed by the terms outlined on the event registration page where the ticket was purchased.

Online Courses

Refunds, cancellations, and access policies for online courses are governed by the terms presented on the course platform at the time of purchase.

8. Code of Conduct

Participants are expected to conduct themselves in a professional and respectful manner during training sessions.

Participants must:

• Follow instructor guidance and safety instructions
  • Treat equipment and training materials responsibly
  • Maintain respectful interactions with instructors and other participants

Nurse Decoded reserves the right to remove any participant from a session if their behavior creates a safety risk or disrupts the learning environment.

Refunds may not be issued in such circumstances.

9. Intellectual Property

All training materials, educational content, videos, documents, and instructional methods provided by Nurse Decoded remain the intellectual property of Nurse Decoded Inc.

Participants may not copy, distribute, reproduce, or share training materials without prior written permission.

10. Equipment Use

Training equipment is provided for instructional purposes only.

Participants agree to use equipment in accordance with instructor guidance and may be responsible for damage caused by misuse or failure to follow instructions.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Nurse Decoded Inc. shall not be liable for any injury, loss, damages, or adverse outcomes resulting from a participant’s use or misapplication of training content or techniques outside of the training environment.

Participation in training is voluntary and undertaken at the participant’s own risk.

12. External Links and Third-Party Services

The website may contain links to third-party platforms used for booking, payment processing, or other services.

Nurse Decoded is not responsible for the policies or practices of third-party providers.

13. Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein.

14. Changes to These Terms

Nurse Decoded reserves the right to update these Terms & Conditions at any time.

Changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date.

Continued use of the website or participation in services constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
